Welcome to PondStat! We are first and foremost dedicated to providing state-of-the-art statistical and database software for pond management. We have taken the math out of pond management analysis to allow you to track your pond’s health. All you need to do is go fishing, input the data you collect, and we do the math in order to make your pond the best fishery it can be.
Our software utilizes the same mathematical models and statistical analysis tools fishery biologists use in their work. For example, measure the weight and length of the fish you catch, enter the data into our phone app, and the statistical results for that catch will automatically be calculated and stored in the secure database. From there you can print the data as a table and/or several different types of graphs or save them as PDFs to your computer. You can even download the raw data to your computer as an Excel file.
Do you work with a fisheries biologist to maintain the health of your pond? The data you collect from PondStat will help your biologist by providing historical data that can reveal trends in fish health over the course of months, seasons, and even years. PondStat is your statistical database to help create and maintain a strong pond or small lake, without having to worry about all the mathematics involved.
Data input can vary from user to user. By only inputting length, weight, and date, you can track Relative Weight (WR) vs. Fish Size, Average Relative Weight () vs Time, WS vs. Length, and other important factors related to pond health. Or, input as many other variables into your database to track everything from fertilization dates, forage stocking, or the affect culling has on WR.
Do you have more than one species in your pond? PondStat has nine of the most popular gamefish and panfish loaded into the software. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, green sunfish, redear sunfish, white and black crappie, walleye, and channel catfish. Track one species or as many as you have in your pond to give the full story of how each species affects each other.
Are you one of the lucky property owners that has more than one pond? No problem. PondStat will allow you to add multiple ponds and track each one individually.
PondStat isn’t just for the private pond owner, though. We have a program for fisheries biologists that allows for the management of several ponds or small lakes. And if one of your customers uses the private owner version of PondStat, you can easily log on to their account and transfer data between their account and yours.
PondStat will also decrease the time you spend generating tables and charts from raw data with only a couple clicks from a mouse. From there, you’re able to produce reports for your stakeholders and/or property owners.
PondStat is the first user-friendly pond management software package created solely for the private pond owner, yet powerful enough fisheries biologists will use it. For more information, contact us at xxx@pondstat.com.
